Argentinian Sergio Aguero has said that he wants to stay at Athletico Madrid even though he has been linked with moves to Manchester United and Chelsea. (Marca)

Daily Mail has said that Chelsea will end their intrest in the Argentinian because he played in Athletico’s match against Panathinaikos in the Champions League meaning he would be cup-tied.

Manchester City have been told by Everton manager David Moyes that they will only sell Joleon Lescott for 30m. Lescott was dropped because of his attitude for Everton’s Europa League play-off match against Sigma Olomouc. (Daily Mail)

Aston Villa are going to complete a move for Portsmouth’s Sylvain Distin in an attempt to strengthen their defense.

Liverpool have also signed Sotirios Kyrgiakos from AEK Athens for a reported fee of 2m. The centre back has also played for rangers.
