Argentinian Sergio Aguero has said that he wants to stay at Athletico Madrid even though he has been linked with moves to Manchester United and Chelsea. (Marca)

Daily Mail has said that Chelsea will end their intrest in the Argentinian because he played in Athletico’s match against Panathinaikos in the Champions League meaning he would be cup-tied.

Manchester City have been told by Everton manager David Moyes that they will only sell Joleon Lescott for 30m. Lescott was dropped because of his attitude for Everton’s Europa League play-off match against Sigma Olomouc. (Daily Mail)

Aston Villa’s reported interest in West Ham’s centre back Matthew Upson will cost Villa 12m and that’s is if the Hammers want to sell him. (Daily Mirror)

Aston Villa are going to complete a move for Portsmouth’s Sylvain Distin in an attempt to strengthen their defense.

Liverpool are looking at a 10m offer for Rafael Van der Vaart. The Dutch midfielder has fallen out of favour at the Madrid club and has hinted he could leave on a free transfer to Manchester United or Chelsea. (Times)
